Full Stack Developer (70% Front End / 30% Laravel Back End)

CloudScope are proud to be recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and growing company in Ipswich who are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join their in-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer with a strong front-end focus, combined with hands-on Laravel experience, to work on a variety of exciting web platforms and customer-facing digital products.

The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a central role in shaping the company's digital experiences, working primarily across front-end development (around 70%) while supporting and enhancing the Laravel back-end (around 30%). You'll be creating fast, accessible, and visually engaging websites and systems that deliver seamless user experiences.

* Building and enhancing websites, portals, and web systems

* Developing slick, responsive UI and optimising for Core Web Vitals

* Writing clean, efficient, standards-compliant code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js

* Supporting the back end with Laravel development Working with stakeholders across marketing and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions

* Migrating legacy code and introducing modern best practices

* Ensuring accessibility, performance, and security across all digital products

The Candidate

* 4+ years of commercial front-end development experience

* Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES13+), and responsive design

* Proven commercial experience with Vue.js (2+ years)

* Hands-on back-end experience with Laravel / PHP

* Ability to build custom solutions without reliance on pre-built templates or plugins

* A portfolio of real-world projects demonstrating your work

* Strong grasp of accessibility, SEO, and performance optimisation

* Able and eager to work on site in Ipswich
