Software Engineer | PHP & Laravel | Remote | Circa £60k

Role / Responsibilities:

Own the technical development and management of the platform
Enhance and manage current tech stack ensuring security and scalability
Collaborate with the Product Director to align development with product goals
Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes to improve the user experience
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to future-proof the platform
Provide recommendations to improve technology as they growExperience / Skills:

Proficient with Laravel and PHP, ideally with PHP cURl calls and HTML
Database management
Experience of Backbone.js for managing SPAs
Familiarity with AWS - deployment, scaling and management
Ability to work independently, be proactive, and with a problem-solving mindset
Desirable: Background or understanding in the EdTech/Education sector Package:

Salary circa £60k
