CloudScope are working with a leading financial services company in Ipswich who are seeking a Front End Web Developer / Designer to join their in-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative developer who thrives on delivering engaging, user-friendly digital experiences.
You'll play a key role in shaping websites, customer portals, and online platforms that are fast, secure, and designed to the highest standards. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with an eye for design, enjoys building solutions from scratch, and has a passion for pushing the boundaries of modern front-end development.
The Role
* Develop and enhance the company's websites and customer-facing platforms.
* Build responsive, accessible web pages optimised for performance and Core Web Vitals.
* Create clean, custom user interfaces from wireframes, concepts, or detailed briefs.
* Work with Vue.js, Livewire, and Laravel to deliver interactive and dynamic components.
* Ensure consistency, security, and scalability across all front-end projects.
* Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
About You
* 4+ years' front-end development experience in a commercial environment.
* Strong portfolio of websites or systems showing real-world results.
* Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES13+).
* Proven experience using Vue.js within production projects.
* Understanding of PHP and Laravel in a professional setting.
* Strong awareness of responsive design, accessibility, and optimisation.
* A proactive communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable extras include experience with Livewire, React, Agile methodologies, CDNs such as Cloudflare, or exposure to financial services data and technologies.
